2019 marks the 45th anniversary of the FACC at Rizal Community Center! This inaugural event will celebrate community and will honor unsung heroes who are making a significant impact in our community through the arts, advocacy, social services, education, or business.
Tribute awards will be bestowed to individuals, organizations, and movements that have inspired, enlightened, and shown true leadership in areas that reflect the FACC’s core pillars of cross-cultural dialogue, civic engagement, service, and education.
In 2019 we explore traditional and new spins on various regional cuisines of Philippines and of the Philippine American diaspora through conversations with local chefs and tastings.
One Book, One Community is a collaborative effort across our community to promote dialogue through the reading of literature. Our goal with this project is to foster dialogue on diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion at the local community level. Our goal is also to thoughtfully explore civil liberties and what it is to be an American.
This summer, we're inviting our neighbors and community to come together to share food, have fun, and get to know each other better. Inspired by the idea from UK-based Eden Project, we also believe it will inspire others to take a small step toward making a big difference.
