Organization Membership application is open to any U.S.-based 501(c) non-profit organization or those eligible for such status.
Non-profit organizations must provide a copy of its IRS determination letter.
PROVISIONAL ORGANIZATION MEMBERSHIP
Organizations that have not yet met eligibility requirements to become an Organization Member, but who demonstrate they are actively working toward meeting them and will do so in less than two years, may join FACC as a Provisional Organization Member. The organization must provide documentation of evidence, showing application of incorporation and non-profit status.
Please Note: Your organization's application must be complete and will not be processed until the check is received and cleared, so allow additional time for processing. If your organization is not accepted for membership, this amount will be refunded.
FACC'S ORGANIZATION MEMBERSHIP CYCLE iS MAY 1 THROUGH APRIL 30
Organizations may apply for membership at any time during the year, but membership dues will only cover the current membership year. Our membership cycle is May 1 through April 30. Membership for new members joining FACC from April 1 through April 30 will expire April 30 of the following year. Those who join between February 1 and April 30 will receive membership through the rest of the current membership cycle plus the next membership cycle (up to 15 months).
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES
Annual Membership Fees are based on the Organization's annual budge size of the most recent fiscal year. Rates are subject to change.
We realize that sometimes these fees present a financial burden for some adults, families, and non-profit organizations and we are here to help. We are a mission driven organization and believe no one should be excluded due to financial circumstances. On a limited basis, FACC can grant fee-waived membership to individuals, families or other nonprofit organizations for the purpose of furthering the work of the FACC. The grant will be for a fee-waived, one-year membership at a general membership level. The member will have all of the rights associated with that level of membership. If you would like to be considered for a fee waiver, please complete both the member application and the assistance program application. We will let you know if you qualify via email within five business days of submission.
All applications are subject to approval by the Filipino American Council of Greater Chicago (FACC).
