Individual Membership

Membership Eligibility and Acceptance 

Any person who supports the purpose of the FACC may be eligible to become a member of the FACC. without regard to race, creed, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, height, weight, physical or mental ability, veteran status, military obligations, and marital status. 


Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of approval. All applications are subject to approval by the Filipino American Council of Greater Chicago (FACC). FACC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, and for any lawful reason, to reject any application for membership. Membership is granted upon majority vote of the Board of Directors.


Individuals may apply for membership at any time during the year, and effective from date of approval. Your application must be complete and will not be processed until the check is received and cleared, so allow additional time for processing. If you are not accepted for membership, this amount will be refunded. Annual Membership Dues are subject to change.

Student - Any person matriculating in an educational institution pursuing candidacy for a degree (Associate or higher) may be eligible for membership as a Student Member.. A valid U.S. university/college 

ID must be presented to receive the discount. 


Senior Member - Any Member who has retired from professional life in a remunerative capacity and is age 60 or over may be eligible for Senior membership. Individuals in a Senior status may retain all rights and privileges previously held.  A valid U.S. ID must be presented to receive the discount. 


Military  - All active, veteran, retired, and reservist US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard personnel are eligible. Join as a member of the FACC and get $10 off annual membership. This cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. A valid U.S. military ID must be presented to receive the discount. 


Family/Dual

Family Members may be two or more members of one family. Any or all of the members of such a family shall share the privileges of a single Individual Member.

Student/Senior (Age 60 and up)/Military

$30 $20 through May 31, 2020 

  • Membership Period: One (1) year 
  • Full-time students, seniors, and military, are entitled to a reduced fee on an Individual membership

Family/Dual

$75 $60 through May 31, 2020 

  • Membership Period: One (1) year 
  • Individual-level benefits for two adults and up to four children or grandchildren under the age of 18 residing at the same address

Friend

$150 $120 through May 31, 2020

  •  Membership Period: One (1) year 
  • Family/Dual-level benefits, plus
  • Recognition on the Center’s website for one year

Fellow

$250 $200 through May 31, 2020

  • Membership Period: One (1) year 
  • Friend-level benefits, plus
  • Recognition on the Center’s donor wall for one year
  • Invitation to a private reception for special guests (Reservations required)

Patron

$500 $425 through May 31, 2020

  •  Membership Period: One (1) year 
  • Fellow-level benefits, plus
  • Complimentary Friend Level gift membership for a friend
